Rain obviously won’t stop us, but if the course is unsafe due to lightning or high winds we will delay or postpone the event. 2013 saw monsoon rain and poor overall conditions but we still raged on. Did you think the zombie apocalypse was going to be all sunshine and rainbows?
All Humans and Zombies must be at least 14 years of age as of the event date.
When you enter the race as a human you must finish the race as a human. Although you are infected, you may not begin taking other human’s flags. Complete the race even if you have been “killed”; it’s still fun. You can always regain flags at personal challenge stations.
There will be no obstacles this year. That being said getting around a swarm of hungry zombies is not easy. New for this year we will also have personal challenge stations where your accomplishment will be rewarded with a health flag.
You will see that sprinting around zombies is a challenging feat in itself. Throw some personal challenge stations in and you will get a great workout and have loads of fun.
Absolutely! We encourage uniqueness and creativity. Even those registered as human are encouraged to dress like the undead. There are best costume prizes for every human wave and zombie shift.
If you are preregistered we recommend a half hour before your wave or shift. If you need makeup give yourself at least an hour.
There is plenty of parking in front of the stadium. Signs and volunteers will lead the way. Parking is very close to registration/race start.
You can pickup your race packet at Rentschler Field the morning of the race, October 4th. There is no guarantee that race day registration will be available, but if there are still spots available, you can register at the stadium and pick up your packet at registration the day of the event, October 4.
